The Texas State Lodge (est. 1985) of the Fraternal Order of Police is made up of all of the Local Lodges throughout Texas and represents over 14,000 members. The Grand Lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police is made up of the State Lodges in all 50 states.

The National Fraternal Order of Police is the largest (with 325,000 members) and oldest (established in 1915) police organization in the history of our nation. Our success is directly related to the generosity of the citizens we serve and to Corporation for Character for their professional fundraising efforts during our 10 year partnership.

It is essential that the citizens of Texas know that none of the elected leadership receives a salary for their involvement. We are full time paid peace officers that take their vacation/comp time to volunteer to a worthy organization that truly believes in making our community a better place to live.
